What is a service day?YouthServe hosts frequent community service days (a.k.a. volunteer opportunities) open to all youth ages 13-18 across the Birmingham metro region.
Typically held on Saturdays, service days are an opportunity for youth to learn about the important work of local nonprofits while engaging in impactful service with their peers. Some examples of past service days include doing river clean-ups with Cahaba Riverkeeper, packaging diapers with Bundles of Hope, and helping organize clothes at the Full Circle thrift store.
