YouthServe is a youth leadership organization serving youth ages 12-18 in the Birmingham metro region and beyond. Our mission is to empower communities by offering leadership, service, and civic engagement opportunities to youth.

WHAT WE DO

YouthServe’s goal is to create the space and opportunity for diverse youth to grow in leadership and citizenry, while giving them the tools to guide them in the process. We do this by hosting youth leadership councils, community service days, in-school service education, and more.

OUR IMPACT

Each year, hundreds of YouthServe participants provide thousands of hours of service to their communities. Surveys show that these youth are more aware of local needs and resources, more confident in themselves, and more empowered to lead than their peers who have not participated in YouthServe programs.
